Nice sound, but a bit louder than anticipated

The pipes are somewhat louder than I anticipated, even with the plugs installed, but they do have a good sound. The chrome is already starting to discolor near the connection to the pipe near the catalytic converter, which is surprising at only a week old. The point in buying Khrome Werks was to match the existing finish, plus they have a good reputation. They sound good, but I was trying to go about halfway between stock pipes and the volume I ended up with.
